I first felt the call of my soul when I was a little girl; I could sense with startling accuracy other people's stories, wounds, and their sense of separation from love.
It didn't take long for me to get caught in my own wounds & separation; despite feeling awake early in childhood, I slowly lost myself to conformity. I was split in two for a decade: longing to be my vibrant, artistic, spiritual, healing self, and so desperate to belong that I made myself as small and palatable as I could.
But then it all came to a head when I realized I could either continue to conform and live a mediocre, lackluster, unfulfilling life...
Or I could burn it all down and find out who I truly was.
It was somehow the easiest and hardest decision of my life.
It cost me everything – every ounce of the conformist, mediocre life I had created.
And then it gave me everything:
immense self respect & confidence
intimacy with my true Self
deep spiritual connection
fulfilling relationships
creative inspiration
authentic self expression
a rebelliously, vibrantly, dharmically fulfilling life
