a bit about me

IT ALL STARTED WITH MY OWN HEALING JOURNEY.

Years ago, I found myself face-to-face with long-ago buried traumas that were being set off like emotional landmines. I was being triggered over and over again and knew I had to learn how to better engage them and find a way to heal these old wounds.

 

It wasn’t easy. It took years of learning to stay present when I wanted to react harshly or dissociate, a couple of therapists, dozens of books, articles, and podcasts, and much thoughtful study and reflection. But little by little, the shift became evident. Through all of this and more, I was able to find a path to healing.

 

And in cultivating the skill of holding myself – my experiences, emotions, and wounds – with compassionate curiosity, I’ve found I’m able to help others do the same for themselves. In doing so, I hope to help as many people as possible not just heal old wounds, but to find a path to flourishing.
